Select the Place Equipment tool.

Activate Plan View or Schematic View

Select a Feature Definition (Equipment to place)

Select "Modes" and fill-in values

Optionally: fille Name Prefix and Item Type data (in case there is an associated Item Type)

Select a Rail Centerline (geometry)

Position the Equipment along the centerline (Along Centerline mode)

Or

Select a Point object/Equipment (Relative to Point mode)

Or

Right-click to place a data-point for the Equipment location

Select Offset, Elevation and Rotation.

Equipment will be inserted
